HOT FILL IN Falls Church, VA as a Project Control Specialist/Technical Writer.

We are looking for a highly effective Project Control Specialist as a highly organized Technical Writer/Administrative Assistant to support the client's Enterprise Architecture team supporting the Air Force Medical Support Agency HQ AF/SG6A. This individual must be a strong technical writer that is able to pull together the various articles written by team members into specific plans required by the customer. To be successful the individual must be able to compile documents, create graphics, and charts into reports and plans that are used to brief senior government officials operating at the CIO level. Our ability to create professional, accurate, documents with captivating graphics and charts is “key” to this positions success.
This is a multi-disciplinary role that requires understanding of content, information design, and usability. This individual needs to have strong analytical, organizational, communication and technical writing skills. He/she must also be able to think creatively and thrive in a fine-detail world.

Responsibilities
Log and track incoming requirements, and outgoing deliverables
Track initiatives
Set meetings and coordinate conference rooms
Create PowerPoint presentations
QA/edit deliverables, an understanding of contract requirements

Skills and Qualifications  Required / Desired
An understanding of federal government contract requirements
Strong technical writing skills
Through understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office Products, specifically Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to create graphics and charts required for reports
Firm understanding of how to write documents for senior government officials operating at the CIO level
The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies
The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and work flow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery
Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera
AFMS experience is beneficial
Security Clearance:
Current NACI, or Secret required to be considered for this position.
Salary $70,000.00 per year.
